Mark & Pat have been on staff with Cru for over 43 years. Mark is the Director of Operations for the International School Project (ISP), a ministry of Cru. The goal of ISP is to take the hope of Christ to teachers around the world, and through them, reach their students and peers with the Gospel. ISP trains and equips public school educators in Christian ethics and morals, and builds them up to become multiplying disciples of Christ and spiritual leaders in their schools and communities. PRAYER & PRAISE ~ August 2-8, 2023
Cru (ISP), USA
Pray for teachers across Mongolia to have the courage to share their faith and be diligent in following up with new believers. Pray that new believers will grow and become multiplying disciples.
Wycliffe Bible Translators, USA/Central Africa
Keith is scheduled to give online training in a course for African Bible translators and consultants on August 3, after two weeks of intense work with the teams. Pray that he will be well prepared and will present information that will build capacity in these fellow servants in the spread of God’s Word.

Please continue to pray for their camp that the Lord will work in the hearts of all campers who have come and continue to come this summer. Pray for the Bible Teachers, staff and all the volunteers that the Lord may use all of them effectively. Pray for safety and unity in their camp. Over eight hundred campers registered for this summer and registrants were still signing up.

Ambassadors for Christ International, West Indies
Pray for their Church, Highpoint Church, St. Vincent, as they pursue their church building program, selecting architects and engineers to put all the renderings together to secure Planning Approval from the government agency. A matching Grant has been set up of $75,000.00 towards the building program. Pray that the Lord will provide that match through their church and others.

Pray for Brandy’s four clients as they grow their partnership teams. Pray that God brings the right people to their teams who will sustain them in prayer and finances.
8/7 RICK & MARY LYNN ATHERTON
Campus Crusade for Christ, South Africa
Mary Lynn will have cataract surgery for her other eye the second week in August, having had her first eye done in July. Pray for the surgeon, Dr. Van de Merwe, and for a successful outcome. Pray for wisdom and stamina as the Athertons work on Operations and Finance for the local ministry. Pray for an additional accountant with experience in payroll administration.

Wycliffe Bible Translators, USA
Praise God for the wonderful increase of new people groups getting the Scriptures in their own languages. Just since March, Wycliffe has seen 19 more countries reach Vision 2025 – which is starting a new Bible Translation project if one is needed by 2025.
