FBA FAITH PROMISE MISSIONARIES
The Andersons are directing Youth Outreach United (YOU), a church-serving youth mission organization whose purpose is to assist the local church in developing kingdom-focused youth ministries. The unique heartbeat of YOU is its Internship Program and Missions Academy. It enables Christian students and volunteers to serve the local church and be exposed to ministry as a vocation while attending school. It also helps to develop a Christian worldview curriculum that addresses the core beliefs for the survival of Christian teenagers once they leave home. The Andersons have two major projects underway to establish local church partnerships, which are International Village in Doraville and Chamblee, and Gwinnett Village in Lilburn, Tucker, and Norcross. These areas have several hundred people groups with diverse languages and cultures. The majority of those living in these apartments do not attend a church of any kind. It is a true mission field within a few miles of FBA. Due to Covid, digital ministry has been added to their hands-on approach and will remain a vital asset. Additionally, a new outreach called Ignite316, a weekly ministry to elementary schools, is now active in the Atlanta area, NW Georgia, and Valdosta.
- Pray for the staff, volunteers, students, and leaders of the International and Gwinnett Villages. Pray more volunteers come forward to serve.
- Pray that God would open the hearts of people in these villages to hear and accept the Gospel of Christ.
- Pray for development and growth of Ignite316, their new weekly ministry to elementary schools.
- Pray for funding that is needed for these major outreach projects.

Additional thoughts from Larry:
The crisis of the Woke influencers in our day, and their methods are to specifically attack the Christian community in the following ways:
1. By undermining the truth, relevance, and
authority of God's Word.
2. By making biblical morality and those who proclaim it
deeply unpopular.
3. By recasting evangelism as intolerant.
4. By replacing the biblical vision of a future focused
on heaven with a secular vision of a future focused on earth.
We are responding to each of these deceptive ideas with
the truth of God's Word. I see these four steps as a blueprint for engaging our
anti-Christian culture with the truth of God's Word. The life-changing truth of
God's Word is where we are making our stand. It alone can and will give meaning
to one's life!

reconciliation, and humility.

Testament & Psalms for publication and prepare their language community to

good progress by seven teams in Gabon that are using their Comprendre pour
traduire (CT) translation guides for Acts and James.

Praise
God for answered prayers concerning a young man and his wife joining the
Andersons in Y.O.U., beginning with the new school year in August. Pray for the
apartment ministry. Our culture, with our children being their focus, is bent
on taking over their thoughts and minds.

Pray that the Gospel goes forth into these unreached areas around
the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria and for the humble and small ways
that believers are helping those in need. Pray for opportunities for witness to
many unreached religious groups in these areas.

Josh will speak at a pastor's conference in Toronto,
Canada May 1-4. Pray that
the Holy Spirit would greatly empower local church leaders for evangelism and
church multiplication to see a move of God transform their cities. As they reconnect with ministry
partners, pray it would be encouraging celebrating God's work and connecting with
new financial/prayer partners.

Pray for the upcoming Dominican Republic Pastor’s
Conference May 1-3. Praise for results from the recent mission to the
Philippines to dedicate the new MV Good News Boat and train pastors and Church
Planter Bible College Students. Over 600 people were saved on their island
crusades, hundreds of pastors encouraged, and leaders trained.
