KEITH PATMAN ~

Keith Patman, FBA Faith Promise Missionary serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators) & his wife Jaci, both serve in ministry. Keith's ministry focus is on training and equipping Africans who are translating the Bible into their own languages. He writes verse-by-verse translation guides in French, which are widely distributed in printed or electronic form to African translation teams. These guides help the teams understand the Scripture text as they translate it into their own languages. Below, Keith shares his newsletter.

Pray for the EuroConnect South, the regional conference, which began April 29 and continues through May 5. Pray for the Lord’s blessing on their time together and all the events.

 

5/4 Charlie & MaryBeth Berry

Cru/Unto, USA

Congratulations to Charlie who was honored in February with a Lifetime Impact Award at the MPD Coaches Forum in North Carolina. Congratulations also to MaryBeth who celebrated 45 years with Cru in February.

 

National Day of Prayer ~ Thursday, May 4th

The first Thursday in May is a National Day of Prayer on which the people of the United States may turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups, and as individuals. We encourage you and your family to join others across the nation as we set time aside to pray for America. It is a crucial time for us to individually and collectively seek God's divine intervention for the challenges facing our nation. 5/5 Graciela Guerrero 

Source of Light Ministries International, USA/Worldwide

Pray for the evangelistic work that Graciela is sowing in Argentina. Along with other church members, she has been visiting people in Monte. They have prepared beautiful bowls of fruits and vegetables for them to keep as a reminder of God’s love. Graciela’s goal is to deliver 100 more bowls to reach the lost and a prayer walk to cry out to the Lord for San Miguel del Monte.

5/6 Andrea & Emory Fleming

OM, Ireland

Pray for results from the short-term team that was in Ireland the week of St. Patrick’s Day to share the same Gospel that Patrick did so many years ago. This team shared testimony with secondary school students, participated in local events, hosted meals with Irish stew, and shared at the youth/young adult events, hosted a men’s breakfast and more. Pray for lasting results, changed lives, and openness to the Gospel.

 

5/7 Sam & Silvana Shaw

Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship, Ireland/Worldwide

Pray for Sam as he goes to Peru to help friends with a conference there. They’ve asked him specifically for a presentation on juggling training. Pray for wisdom and God’s provision, for direction as to where God would have them travel during the summer and for open doors.

 

5/8 PAUL & KARAN DAVIS 

TEAM, France 

In March, Paul represented TEAM at the Connect Missions forum in Switzerland, a network of French Mission Agencies that share this same vision and mission. TEAM has seen the need to send missionaries from the countries where they serve, desiring for France to be a sending point of missionaries to a world so desperately in need of the Gospel.

 

5/9 Oli & Judy Jacobsen

Ethnos360, USA/Asia          

Pray for the Jacobsens as they return to Asia the end of May. Pray they endure the long flights with ease. Their month-long travel will take them to Malaysia and the Philippines.
