HOW ONE CHURCH IS MAKING A MAJOR IMPACT BEVERLY MINOR, Austria
Faith Promise Missionary Beverly Minor shares, Our church has adopted a church in
Ukraine, where a van loaded with food and relief supplies makes a weekly
delivery to the church or just across the border. We gifted this church
with over 6000€. We donate food and relief supplies to other locations in
Ukraine through GAIN (Global Aid Network), located in Hungary. The church
and GAIN disperse a lot of relief supplies to war torn areas.
The European
Union is providing large-scale support for Ukraine. Humanitarian
assistance is flooding Ukraine internally and externally to neighboring
countries to assist those fleeing Ukraine. Some EU countries have
stationed their military along neighboring borders to assist with incoming
refugees. Trauma centers are in position too. Public transport across the
European Union is giving away free tickets. Wizz Air has offered 100,000
free airline tickets, while many train companies will allow Ukranians to travel
for free with just a glimpse of their passport or ID. Free hotels, Airbnb
and refugee centers are available as well. Welcome centers are set up in
many train stations to provide food, a place to rest and information, etc., for
arriving refugees. Some countries are immediately granting work permits
to those who are seeking employment.
A grocery store that I frequent,
drives across the border with a truck loaded of food and relief supplies
too. They support a church in an unknown location. Amid this war, the
Lord is providing for the Ukranians.
Most of the
Ukrainians are Orthodox Christians. A few have already visited our
church. Evangelism is at an all-time high and so is sex-trafficking and
other things. Every Wednesday evening, via Zoom, we pray for Ukraine and
Russia.
Thank you for your love, prayers,
and support.
Giving glory to the Most High,Bev
