MEN'S SWEATERS ARE NEEDED!

Please give to FBA’s Missionary Care

“I will open the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows” (Malachi 3:10).

The Missionary Care Center (MCC) was created in 1989 by a group of First Baptist Church Atlanta women with a heart for missionaries. The center’s purpose is allowing God to show His love to those He has called to serve as missionaries. We do this by ministering to the material needs of FBA Faith Promise missionaries and other qualified missionaries.

PRAYER & PRAISE - January 19-25, 2022

1/19 ANNE MARIE DECKER
International Mission Board, Peru
Please pray for the many hours of dedicated study and practice Anne Marie will be resuming in January as she works to improve her Spanish proficiency from Advanced Mid to Advanced High by the middle of 2022. This will include about 15+ hours per week on top of her usual work.  Pray for more opportunities to meet locals – to build relationships, to practice Spanish and to share the Gospel with more people.

1/20 Tyler & Lara Patty
Josiah Venture, Czech Republic
Pray for the Praxologie Podcast. Pray that their efforts in running a podcast for European leaders would bear fruit. Pray especially for Lara as she handles all the behind-the-scenes production.

1/21 Veral & Norma Blake
Ambassadors for Christ International, West Indies
Praise the Lord that Nigel is back in the USA after six-weeks break at home from the first course of treatment and has begun a second cycle of chemo at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. This will be for a period of six months. He is coping very well.

1/22 Robert & Mary Jo Foster
Be One Together, USA/Brazil
Recently, they conducted another workshop and training clinic, employing again the pandemic adaptations they developed. Of the 133 workshop participants, twenty had set aside the whole week for the more in-depth clinic training. These were from four churches, two of which are on the other side of Brazil.

1/23 AL & MARY MADELINE WHITTINGHILL
Ambassadors for Christ International, USA
Pray for Al as he continues to quicken our hearts through an appeal to return to the Word of God.  The Lord has anointed him with the great gifts of writing and preaching. He writes, “We must be able to discern the aggressive movement away from the Word of God that is fast gaining momentum in many churches today. The entrance of His Word will give light, and when received as God’s Word it will work effectually in those who believe.”

1/24 ANDREW & ANNA GORSKI
In Touch Mission International, Poland
Pray for Andrew as he prepares for the first public campaign on evangelical Christianity in Poland – building team, finding resources, etc. Evangelicals make up two-tenths of one percent in Poland. At this point, twenty-eight percent of Polish churches and 400+ pastors and leaders were part of at least one common project. They believe collaboration and unity, which is God’s will for His church, will bring fruit and growth of the Polish Church.

1/25 Linda Summer
The Agape Puppets, USA/Worldwide
Praise the Lord for an amazing and talented team which continues to improve every time they do a puppet show. They work very hard, and Linda is so proud of them. Please ask the Lord to open more doors for them to share!
