Missions in the Rear-View Mirror

Let's explore . . .
Missions in the Rear-view Mirror 2001:
Sunday, November 4 - Sunday, November 11, 2001

For our 24th World Missions Conference at First Baptist Atlanta, our theme was: “Facing the Unfinished Task”

Lots of exciting events were planned for the 40+ FBA missionaries that attended and for all age groups of our FBA church family.

 PRAY FOR OUR MISSIONARIES

PRAYER & PRAISE - Jan. 26 - Feb. 1, 2022

1/26 Doug & Lisa Mitts
Greater Europe Mission, Germany
Please pray for wisdom and Spirit empowerment in their ongoing ministries of discipling disciple makers, spiritual direction, outreach (regular evangelism in the city), and supervision of others in mission.

1/27 GARY & DONNA FERCH
Friends in Action International, USA/Bolivia
Praise the Lord for Gary's miraculous improvement after eight weeks of taking new chemo infusions! He has begun three more months of the new chemo treatment. Pray that Gary can endure the side effects and for his healing.

1/28 T & A
Central Asia
Please pray for T & A as they make plans to visit family stateside for several weeks. Pray their time will be restful and blessed with many wonderful memories.

1/29 BILL & JOY BOEROP
World Thrust International, USA/Worldwide
Joy is grateful to be out of AFib. Her legs have healed from the surgeries, but the edema in her legs is really bad. She is enjoying the water aerobics.

1/30 SERGIO & LINDA MIJANGOS
Avant Ministries, Guatemala
Please remain prayerful for Linda as she continues to undergo treatment for cancer. Update: the Lord opened the door for Linda at Mayo Clinic, Houston, TX. Please pray for all who administer care to her. Pray also for Sergio as he conducts classes via Zoom from Texas.

Wycliffe Bible Translators, Peru
Praise the Lord that the insurance company approved to cover Joy’s new oral targeted cancer medication treatment. The doctor is very optimistic that this treatment will put her cancer into remission.

2/1 Josh & Gina Bloomfield
AFC International, Australia
God is calling individuals and developing ordinary believers who’ve never lived as a witness before, to begin sharing the Gospel with boldness. This is the impact of EvangelismSHIFT on an individual's life! Josh and his teammate Aaron Daniel accepted the invitation to partner with a church in Perth who wants to cultivate this culture as an entire congregation. Please pray!
