8/4 PAUL & LOIS JENKS

AMG International, Asia 

Please pray for Myanmar and those suffering simply because they love democracy. AMG continues to provide relief there if you would like to contribute to this need. Additionally, please pray for the following roles to be filled: a new teacher and chaplain for the AMG dormitory and By Grace School, and a dedicated couple to oversee the AMG hostel; a difficult position to fill.

InStep Global, USA/Worldwide

Pray for Greg as he begins Healthy Church Training for Church Planters in India today. This is a two-month commitment to advance the kingdom of God in India. Pray for the InStep Network of partners this month, strategic planning sessions for 2021 and their Great Commission focus and initiatives. Continue to pray for new relationships and for a new generation impacted by InStep.

 

8/6 Sergio & Linda Mijangos

Avant Ministries, Guatemala

Sergio and Linda really need our earnest prayers as she is fighting an aggressive cancer. She is in a great deal of pain. She had a PET Scan and biopsy July 28. The cancer is now in her back and hip. She will start chemo and radiation this week. Please pray for a miraculous healing for Linda.

Pray for a special week of training for young people which will be held in August to motivate a younger generation to serve God in Belgium. Pray for all the projects that are starting and for wise decisions to be made.

 

8/8 Veral & Norma Blake 

Ambassadors for Christ International, West Indies

Pray for a spiritual transformation in the West Indies as a direct result of the La Soufriere eruption and its effect on the nation, and most recently, Hurricane Elsa. Many who are in the shelters have come to the Lord. The Blakes’ home was damaged, and the contents within, when the roof was blown away. Please pray for their son Nigel, who is undergoing cancer treatments in New York. The family is taking turns being with him, as he needs a support system around him.

Please continue to pray for the key teachers involved with ISP (International School Project), for their spiritual growth, and for the many outreach events to encourage more teachers to come to faith in Jesus. God allowed the ISP ministry to expand in many parts of the world during the pandemic through the digital platform, reaching more teachers than before via virtual meetings from their countries without having to travel.

 

8/10 ANNE MARIE DECKER 

International Mission Board, Peru 

Pray for Anne Marie as she returns to Peru in August. She will continue her work as Logistics Coordinator in the Americas, in Lima, Peru for the IMB missionaries; getting them prepared to enter the country, assist with travel visas, residency visas, housing, contract work, vehicles and dealing with any legal aspects.
